Abstract
|

|
The protein-free blood extract(Solcoseryl), obtained from the blood of young calves, has been used in the treatment of 18 peptic ulcers, 12 gastric and 6 duodenal ulcers.
In these series, a successful result with Solceseryl was taken in a high proportion of patients, 14 ofall.
And so, from these clinical experiences, the authors state conclusively that this protein-free blood extra ct(Solcoseryl) has a valuable effect, a significant increase in the rate of granulation and cicatrization, in the treatment of peptic ulcers.
